Description:
- Ensures the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue-generating departments.
- Establishes annual marketing communications budgets, including above-the-line advertising, public relations, sales promotions and publicity that will form part of the hotel’s business plan.
- Ensures a high level of exposure for the Hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts and written communications.
- Conducts extensive competitor research and maintains excellent Product Knowledge of the Hotel.
- Utilize strong copywriting skills to create compelling content that resonates with different types of accommodations, effectively conveying their unique selling points and driving conversions.
- Understand the unique needs of hotels and their guests to create tailored marketing approaches that generate maximum impact.
- Assists the Rooms and Food and Beverage on collateral requirements and that they comply with Brand Standards i.e. newsletters, promotional flyers and posters, photography of food and lifestyle shots etc.
- Fosters outstanding relationship with the press and maximize the hotel exposure, journalists, editors and proprietors of media should be entertained on a weekly basis, not just on special occasions.
- Supervises the internal arrangements for photojournalists and media on assignment at the hotel.
- Relationship with KOLs, Bloggers and Key Influencers, all locally based and overseas.
- Able to coordinate and facilitate Photoshoots to create Storyboad content.
- Answers all press inquiries, and handles all media accommodation requests.
- Proofreads all collateral when required.
- Implement and update the hotel’s press kits.
- Other tasks and responsibilities are assigned by Director of Marketing and Director of Sales & Marketing.
